Cats And Cats

Share
Two days ago in my mother's kitchen:

"Ugh! This cat is so annoying! It keeps jumping up in front of me!", my mum, exasperated, with a pan in her hand, muttered.

Her kitchen is rather small and we have cats coming every day.  They want food and a warm place to sleep in.  Where do they come from? We ain't got a clue.  Sometimes, I'd come home to find one of the cats lazying on my bed.

The cat looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Dinner's not ready yet, little fellow.  You have to wait", I said.

"They always come and stand in front of you while you're hustling in the kitchen!", my mum continued, very annoyed.

"So why don't you stand behind the cats?", piped in my father, who was at the kitchen table, reading the newspapers.  With a dead-pan expression!

Trust my dad to make fun of everything!

Being home is lovely!

My crazy neighbor has a hundred cats and dogs (I swear!). And they keep coming over to our hose, sometimes hiding right under the car. It does get super annoying. Grrrr!

i am not a cat or dog or any kind of animal people! I dont like it when cats come in my house..although back home they do come in my moms kitchen if she leaves the door or window open..once a cat got into the attic upstairs and gave birth to 8 kittens...i was horrified but they were cute..they got sent to their master straight away!

We don't have random cats, but a family of birds that have started hassling us like homeless people for bread. I feel your pain. x

I'm not a big fan of cats. They never listen to me. I'd much rather have a dog.

I have a cat and a dog and both are wonderful in their own way - the dog is funny and needy and a lot like a baby, the cat is funny and 'mature' and independent.

I have 2 dogs now, and honestly, I don't know how much I could deal with cats. I like it when the dogs need me, and when they ask for cookies and such. Maybe because I also need them to cuddle with me (boyfriend's too far away). But a cat who could feed himself alone and not need me? Hm, not so much!

Not a cat person.. At. All. They know it too. My friend's cat always scares the shit out of me by jumping no me when I least expect it. The other one bites me. They are so creepy.

So glad you're back!
